The first iPRIME Symposium occurred on April 18th, 2023 with great success. This program in Prominence to Preeminence, with support from the Vice President for Research at UVA showcased our successes in supporting their research. Over 60 attendees heard great presentations from several UVA faculty, and our Keynote Speaker, Dr. Kathryn Moore from NYU, who is an eminent scholar in the field of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The panel from UVA whose research examines the intersection between the immune system and CVD highlighted the innovative research performed at the University in this cutting-edge field.
